Most of our calls come from a son or a daughter.
Not from the person who will use the bath. That tells you something about how these conversations start, and about how carefully they need to be handled.

Raising it without taking over
The bath is rarely the real subject. What sits underneath it is independence, and the fear that accepting one adaptation is the first step to accepting all of them. That is why a bathroom full of hospital-looking equipment gets refused so often.
A door in the existing bath is unusually easy to say yes to, because almost nothing changes. Same bath, same tiles, same room. The difference is a low step instead of a climb, and it can be described as a small practical fix rather than a concession.
How it works when you arrange it from a distance
You can run the whole thing from another town. Say who we should call at each step, and we keep you both in the loop.
You send the request
With your own number. Tick “for someone else” and nobody rings your parent unannounced.
The call
We can call you, or them, or both. Say which when you request the quote.
The survey
We measure and confirm the bath is suitable before anyone commits to anything.
The day itself
One engineer, one visit, roughly six hours. Plenty of customers have a family member on the phone during the handover instead of in the room.
You pay after
From anywhere, once the work is finished, by card or Klarna. The 10-year warranty stays with the bath, not with whoever paid.
A word on the money
Fitted from £990 for the bathtub frame version, from £1,490 for the full watertight door, and you pay only after the work is done. Full bathroom conversions by the larger mobility companies run into many times that, which is the comparison most families are actually making when they call us.
If the person you are arranging this for is chronically sick or disabled, the work may qualify for 0% VAT relief. We will tell you whether it does before you decide, not after.

Questions families ask us
Can I arrange and pay for it without being there?
Yes. Book with your own number, tell us who to call at each step, and pay from anywhere after the work is done, by card or Klarna.
What if they say no to the survey?
Then nothing happens, and nobody chases them. The survey is free and carries no obligation, which is exactly why it is usually easy to say yes to.
Will their bathroom be torn up?
No. The door is fitted into the existing bath in one day. Same bath, same tiles, same room, and the bathroom is cleaned before handover.
Is there help with the cost?
If the person using the bath is chronically sick or disabled, the work may qualify for 0% VAT relief. We confirm it before you decide.
Arranging it for someone else?
Three details and we call you back within one working day, on your number, not theirs. Nothing is charged, nothing is booked, and nobody rings your parent unannounced.
