How is the UDOOR® safety tested?

We are proud to say that the UDOOR® bathtub door and our installation process has been certified by ÉMI-TÜV-SÜD for ten consecutive years. To obtain certification, strict adherence to certain requirements is necessary, including subjecting the door to 20,000 open-close cycles, simulating 15 years of use by two individuals. The water-tightness of the door has also undergone rigorous examination through 24-hour water-tightness tests.

Our manufacturing process is audited to ensure compliance with the standards set by ÉMI-TÜV-SÜD. This audit covers not only product testing but also evaluates the quality and safety of UDOOR® bathtub doors and our installation process.

After a member of our family suffered an accident getting into the bath, we sought out an affordable and dependable solution. When we couldn’t find one, we decided to develop the solution ourselves. In 2010 we founded UDOOR® as father and son and have since become market leaders in over five countries. We have installed tens of thousands of UDOOR® bathtub doors and we’re proud to have provided a simple and reliable solution to many happy customers.

Do you get a warranty with your UDOOR® bathtub door?

We provide a 10-year warranty with all our bathtub doors and their installation. Once the installation is complete, we will provide you with an invoice, a warranty certificate and a user manual containing everything you need to know.
